Chestermere Country Fair
The Chestermere Country Fair is the oldest ongoing annual event in Chestermere, held every year in September.

Kids Zone
Features games, activities, Create Kids Fest. Butterfield Acres petting zoo, Junior's Firefighter's Challenge, Sheep herding demos, ninja obstacle courses and more.

We have close to 60 vendors and food trucks with a wide variety of products to delight everyone young and old.


The parade begins at 9:30 am at the Chestermere Family Bike Park and proceeds north on West Chestermere Drive to the Chestermere Recreation Centre. There is plenty of viewing along West Chestermere Drive. Park at the recreation centre and bring your lawn chairs. Register for the 2023 parade here.

The Chestermere Country Fair features a Bull Riders Canada-sanctioned pro bull riding as well as wild cow milking, mutton bustin', sheep scramble and Ladies Ranch Bronc riding. Another highlight of the rodeo is the Charity Bull Riding event where extraordinary local people laid it all on the line for their favourite charity. Tickets are required.

Show off your hobby! We want to showcase your creativity and talent. Enter your drawings, vegetables, paintings, crochet, embroidery, baking, preserves, flowers, quilting, woodworking, photography, weaving and so much more! The Red Ribbon competition during the Chestermere Country Fair is free to entry and there are ribbons, trophies and even prize money to be won!

Pancake Breakfast
The Chestermere Lions Club hosts the annual Country Fair pancake breakfast, and it is always delicious! The Lions Club asks for a donation per plate. 9:00am - 11:30am

Whitecappers Country Kitchen
Don't forget to stop by the Chestermere Whitecappers for some pie and ice cream!

Bring along your best and fastest zucchini! Register and pick up your wheel kit at the Chestermere Public Library. There are four classes, under 10 yrs, over 10 yrs, Seniors (65+) and "Bring Your Own Wheels".
