Backyard Chicken Workshop
Introducing the Chestermere 4-H Multi Club by the RVC Agricultural Society! Formal youth registrations will commence in September, with the club officially launching on October 1, 2023. While waiting for registration to open, kindly fill out the form below, and we will send you the formal registration forms in September.

Membership in the 4-H Alberta program is open to youth who have reached their ninth (9th) birthday and have not reached their twenty-first (21st) birthday on or before December 31st of the current club year.

If you haven't already, please fill out our 4-H pre-registration form. This way, we will be able to reach everyone when it's time to send out the 4-H official registration forms. Also, if your child(ren) already know what project(s) they are interested in, please include that. We have a number of families interested in Canine projects already

The RVC Ag Society is currently organizing a workshop on raising backyard chickens. During the workshop, you will learn more about flock health, handling, associated costs, coop design, breeds, bylaws, diseases and more. The workshop is approximately three hours long and will cost between $30 - $40 per participant.

If you are interested in this workshop, please complete the form below and we will be in touch once we have the date finalized. We require a minimum of 25 participants to be able to run this workshop.

Steer Riding Practice
The RVC Ag Society wants to put some feelers out about hosting weekly Thursday night steer-riding practices at our arena in Chestermere.
This would be beginner-level. We'd bring in some beef cows and dummy buck them first.
