The Chestermere Country Fair is the oldest ongoing annual event in Chestermere, held every year in September.
Featuring a parade, pancake breakfast, bull riding, harvest market, kids zone, mutton busting, and more.

Features games, activities, Butterfield Acres petting zoo, Junior's Firefighter's Challenge, Sheep herding demos, ninja obstacle courses and more.

Extraordinary local people laid it all on the line for their favourite charity
Catch a sheep, win a prize. Children ages 7 - 11 are welcome to pre-register for this event. Space is limited. Registration coming this summer.
We have close to 50 vendors and food trucks with a wide variety of products to delight everyone young and old. Vendor applications are now being accepted.
Parade
Register for the 2023 parade here. The parade begins at 9:30 am at the Chestermere Lake Middle School and proceeds north on West Chestermere Drive to the Chestermere Recreation Centre. There is plenty of viewing along West Chestermere Drive. Park at the recreation centre and bring your lawn chairs.
Red Ribbon (Bench) Competition

What is a Bench Show or Competition? A bench show is a term used to describe classes in sewing, handicrafts, cooking, artwork and photography that usually take place during a fair or another community event, often alongside a horticultural show or seed show. First, second and third-place ribbons are awarded in each class, and trophies are also awarded based on points accumulated.
Bike Decorating Contest
Calling all children 12 years old and under! Decorate your bike and enter it in the Chestermere Country Fair Bike Decorating Contest on September 9th, 2023! Please remember, safety first. You must be able to safely operate your bike, and wear a helmet. For more information, please click here.
Mutton bustin' has become a crowd favourite over the last few years. Registration will open this summer.
Bring along your best and fastest zucchini! Wheels and axels provided -- Registration and wheel pick-up TBA. There are four classes: Under 10, Over 10, Senior (65+), and ‘Bring Your Own Wheels’. Click here for more details.
Wet your whistle with a cold one in our beer garden. Children are allowed but must be accompanied by parents/guardians.
